“Wabi-sabi” is an aesthetic discipline that reveres transience and imperfection. It aspires to rough authenticity and silent, elegant beauty. Asymmetry, simplicity, intimacy, and respect for the integrity of all natural entities are incorporated in wabi-sabi. These sculptures exist for an instant, are photographed, and then disappear.
